Parents in Iran have spoken of their pain after their children were killed, according to officials, in a strike on a school in the southern Iranian city of Minab on Saturday, the first day of the US-Israeli strikes on the country.

Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have carried out their first coordinated attacks on Israel since Saturday, the Israeli military said.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is deeply concerned about the possibility of the northern Iraqi region being used as a launch pad for Iranian Kurdish militias seeking to take advantage.
