Hey Beauties,
As much as we all enjoy a great glam look, for most of us this is not day-to-day appropriate for work, school, Ect. Most of us don’t have the time to eat properly let alone to spending hours and hours on makeup looks. Because of this, we constantly strive to appear stunning and feel polished.
This look is a go-to favorite of mine for daytime easy glam. You wouldn’t traditionally think of a smoky eye and subtle to be in the same sentence but It’s not true. This look also did not take a lot of time something like this can be achieved in 15 minutes or less.
Face
For my foundation, I am wearing Nyx Cosmetics Angel veil and illuminating primer from E.L.F cosmetics. Next on the back of my hand, I took a nickel size amount of Nyx Cosmetics HD foundation in the shade nude and a small amount of the Nyx Pro foundation mixers in luminous and mixed them with my finger. I dotted the foundation around my face and then I bent it out with a damp Beauty Blender. I used Urban Decay Naked Concealer in the shade Light//Warm on my under eye and I set it all with the Nyx Cosmetics hd Translucent Powder. For contour, I used my Nyx Cosmetic Matte Bronzer ( cuz a shimmery face is not a great ” natural look “) and to add a tiny extra glow a little highlighter from Jeffree Star cosmetics in ice cold. I used a tiny bit of blush on the apples of my cheeks which was by Tarte Cosmetics the 12 hr Amazonian Clay Blush in Unstoppable.
Eyes
Eye shadow is one of my favorite things to express myself with and my favorite neutrally for this eye shadow look I used the Urban Decay naked smoky palette (combust on the entire eye going up to the brow bone and a mixture of Whisky and password in my outer corner and crease ). For this look blending is key you start with the light color all over the lid (use thirteen if you want it to be bold).and then use a crease Also I am wearing lashes by velour but they aren’t necessary for this look but hey I do wear lashes all the time so for me this is normal. I used Kat von D Tattoo liner in Trooper for my winged eyeliner but be careful not to come too far out with the wing to keep the style.
Lips
On my lips, I have used my OG fav lip gloss of all time by M.A.C cosmetics lip gloss in the color purr which is a beautiful pink/ peachy shade with gold. This lip gloss has been my favorite since high school. It is the most beautiful natural shade that I feel works with my skin tone but I have seen other people wear it and I have put it on other people of many skin tones and is kind of like the Sisterhood of traveling pants movie, it suits everyone.
This look as I said is super simple to do, I love this look with my hooded eyes because it adds depth to my eyes. I love this look for a little glam but still work-appropriate (maybe don’t do false lashes as I do but hey I am a makeup artist). I hope you guys enjoy these looks and I hope you have all had a great January.
