Greetings Beauties, I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday! We have now eaten too much and stayed out just a little too long but now it’s time to say goodbye to 2022 and look forward to 2023. Here is a great Makeup look that I love to help you bring in the new year in style.
For this look, I have partnered up with Mary Kay Cosmetics and Kiss Lashes USA! The one thing I love about New Year is the chance to see so many of your friends, Christmas tends to be the more family holiday but now its time to return those phone calls and hang out with the gals but also be ready for the New Years kiss should you be with that special someone.
On my eye, I was first primed with an Urban decay shadow potion. All the eyeshadow colors are from the Mary Kay cosmetics Pure dimensions eyeshadow palette Paris Starlight ($46 CDN). I used the gold color all over my eyelid blending up to the brow bone then I used black all over the lid blending into the crease. I used the silver color in the inside corner of my eye and the purple color as a liner under my lower lash line. I love this shadow palette it just screamsNeww years Eve to m! The shades are all shimmery and the glitter accents are perfect, the purple is probably one of the prettiest purples have ever used. The eyeliner on the top lid is by MacCosmeticss in the shade Aqualine.
The lashes used are by Kiss Lashes US, Their new faux Mink Lash couture line in Gal. These lashes are comfortable and soft. I wore them for 16 Hours and they were still comfortable they didn’t feel heavy at all which for the volume was pleasantly surprising.
New Year’s Eve Makeup Inspiration
Mauve Moment Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick by Mary Ka is what I’m wearing. This is a hydrating and comfortable lipstick to wear and I enjoyed the lighter color because I like to pair a bold eye with a softer lip. The highlighter is wearing is by Jeffree Star called skin frost in the shade ice cold. This highlighter is very large and makes you glow!! I love this highlighter in photos.
My foundation as always is M.A.C. Cosmetics pro longwear foundation. This is my go-to for the simple fact that it goes the distance and still looks great hours later. Concealer is urban decay naked in the shade light warm. Contour is by Kat Von D in a lucid and somber. My whole face was set using Nyx Cosmetics HD finishing powder.
